Why I’m building Nuvvoo

A couple of years ago I started taking migraine medication. The pain went away, but the side effects hit hard: my mood crashed, my weight went up, and it felt like everything was slipping out of control.

I started looking for a way to lose weight and tried a ton of calorie-tracking apps. And kept quitting every time. Not because the apps were bad, but because I didn’t have the energy to do it consistently. It was really hard to search for foods, enter grams… especially while depressed.

But one day I simply wrote in a chat with AI, told it what I’d eaten that day, and asked what I could have for dinner to stay within my calories. It felt so natural. The chat didn’t just give recommendations, it added supportive words too. A quick dopamine hit I’d been missing.

The next day I wrote again. And the next. Within a month it stopped feeling like stress. Talking with the chat about my food became a calm daily ritual.

That’s when I came up with the idea for Nuvvoo: a companion that listens first, counts second, and helps everyone who struggles with procrastination like I do stay in balance. I hope you’ll find your own way to stay balanced, without pressure, with joy.
